Our mission has always been to help as many people as possible live better and happier lives. Our impact initiatives include minimising waste, increasing access, supporting brilliant charities and raising awareness of everyone and everything that comes with using mobility aids. We are committed to making a difference way beyond selling sticks and crutches. Read on to find out how we work and how you can help!

We’re proud to partner with Physionet, a UK charity committed to improving mobility aid access worldwide. Physionet refurbishes and redistributes walking sticks and crutches, providing vital support to where it’s lacking.

With an extensive network of communities who need help, Physionet have distributed to over 22 countries including more recently to Ukraine, Turkey and Syria.

If you’re changing up your walking stick style, or you’ve ditched your last pair of crutches in favour of something new, please donate your preloved mobility aids — together we make an impact!

Using either the box provided with your order, or any alternative packaging you may have, send your preloved mobility aids to us, together we will help someone in need.

Please jot down your name and email address, and let us know what you’re donating. As a thank you, we’ll send you a 10% discount code for your next order.

Courier with care

Pop your package in the post by courier or Royal Mail for as little as £2.95. Our address is: Cool Crutches, The Gables, Oakwood Business Park, Fountains Road, HG3 3BF.

Repair and empower

Together with Physionet we will refurbish your donation, recycle any broken bits and ensure it’s perfect to be sent to help rewrite someone’s story.

At Cool Crutches we are committed to taking action to support others. Over the years, we've created a number of designs to raise money for amazing charities and causes. In 18 months, we raised over £3000!

Our most recent partnership was with the late Nicky Newman and Willow Foundation — ‘Walking on Sunshine’ made a meaningful impact on young people facing life changing conditions and injuries.

raise awareness

When our founder Amelia started sharing her story, she was overwhelmed with the response. Thousands of people with life-long injuries or disabilities reached out with thanks and recounted their own experiences. Every story was inspiring and motivated her and co-founder Clare to continue on their mission designing crutches, canes and accessories that boost confidence.

With more representation, we can show the world that disabilities and injuries don’t have to hold you back. We all have the strength to accomplish our goals, and the power to help others see a life ahead full of possibility.
