Crutches that feel as good as they look
Cool Crutches has designed forearm crutches since 2006 for people who use them every day. Each crutch has a moulded handle, a soft removable neoprene grip and a shock absorbing ferrule that keeps every step quiet. Over 50,000 customers have chosen us, and they rate us 4.9 out of 5.
Forearm, elbow or underarm crutches?
Forearm crutches and elbow crutches are the same thing: a crutch with a cuff that sits around your forearm, below the elbow. They give more control and freedom than underarm crutches and are the usual choice for longer term use. All of our crutches are forearm crutches.
How to choose your crutches
- Height: our crutches adjust to suit users from 4ft 10in to 6ft 4in. With your arms relaxed, the handle should sit level with the crease of your wrist.
- Single or pair: buy a single crutch if you need light support on one side, or a pair for more support. Not sure? Our mobility quiz recommends the right option.
- Weight: each crutch weighs 730g and supports up to 150kg (23.5st).
- Travel: every crutch splits into 3 sections to pack into a suitcase.
