Good heavyish walking stick, only thing to let it down In my opinion was the term Carbon fibre which it isn't, it's a wrap and it does not cover the bottom part when you extend it to your length. I found the palm a bit small and slipper than I would have liked, the cover that comes with it is a good fit but because of the slippyness of the handle tends to slip aswell. Is it worth the price, in my opinion no. Just being honest with the review.
I had a bespoke walking stick made for my son, I can tell you I was so pleased with how it turned out. I picked the colour and I was spoilt for choice but got the exact one I wanted, told the staff what I wanted on it and they sent me a mock up of the stick. To say I was pleased is an understatement couldn’t have gone any better. I’m sure my son will be really pleased and no one else will have one like this lol. Well done coolcrutches your amazing.
Bought the Gold Crutches. I took them on holiday in the UK. I am so glad I got these they make me feel so glamorous feel more confident with my mobility. No noise… nobody can hear me coming, the NHS crutches were uncomfortable, noise didn’t feel safe. Know my gold crutches are sturdy, safe and very comfortable no sore right palm… still numb but that’s due to my injury. I also bought high performance ferrules for the winter highly recommended, they just make the movement of the crutch flow with ease while walking. My only regret is I didn’t get my fabulous crutches a lot sooner. Don’t wait you want regret your fabulous buy 🙏🏻
I've worn bilateral kafos for late effects of polio for 30 years and got about well with the support of a stick. More recently I've acquired bilateral hook arm prostheses. Gripping a stick is impossible. With the wide cuff I can fit my prosthesis through and grip the handle with my hook. it works really well for me. I feel so much safer - already the crutch has prevented a couple of falls. Thank you!
Best one I’ve ever used, much more natural feel and so silent
