So I’ve recently started using crutches and had some NHS ones with moulded hand grips. But they’re so heavy. However, the reassurance of having them for situations where I can’t get the wheelchair with me was worth it. The backlash pain was massive as I struggle as much with my hands and arms as I do with my legs.
I hadn’t really seen a cool crutches review that commented on weight!
They are so much lighter!!!
So I’m managing to use them for a few minutes a day and I’m trying to build some strength where the NHS ones were just too heavy I couldn’t manage at all.
The colours are great fun and feel much more me but the practicality of them is the absolute winner.

first of all may I say how pleased I was with how fast my order was processed. Then I was a bit puzzled (and still am) by the double arm cuffs. Are they both supposed to be there or just one or the other? Anyway, apart from not being able to get them on over a thick coat! They are wonderful! I didn’t realise how much more secure I would feel with two crutches (I have vertigo as well as joint problems) and now feel quite confident going up and down the uneven kerbs in this part of the world! When I fancy a change of design I shall certainly order from you again. Xx

Finally got the crutch ive been longing for, wish I'd got it sooner. Excellent quality, and options available. I really like the sturdiness and the super-duper ferrule really help with my balance. The hardest part was deciding on pattern. Love this, you have truly made a fabulous product

I got these as I had a bleed on my brain in November 22, the nhs ones really hurt my hands and arms. These are so comfortable and actually allow me to stand up straight taking the pressure off my arms and wrists! I may get a walking stick too soon.

I have been using a pair of walking sticks, a zimmer frame and a walking frame as my hips do not work properly! Although I am on the waiting list for replacement surgery I do like to keep moving and these crutches have started to make a difference in my activities. I belong to a Rock Choir group and I've not been able to join in with the moves for a while; I'm looking forward to seeing the faces of the rest of the choir next week when we return after the Easter break lol

Very comfortable

I absolutely love these! The ability to use them together or separately as I need them makes them invaluable to my mobility. They are so comfortable and stylish. Totally recommend.

From my very first enquiry Amelia has been so supportive friendly and so helpful. I love my rainbow crutches 🌈 and they are a wonderful talking point ! I also bought the high performance ferrules and I'm looking forward to using these on wet surfaces and on sand. Knowing Amelia's story and the journey she and her Mum have been on is not only personally inspiring but also heartful and heart warming. Living in Ireland meant that I had to pay an extra 79e on custom fees but they are still worth every penny ! They make me smile and with an incomplete and evolving spinal cord injury they will be be friends for a long time. My first pair of Crutches going from walking stick and scooter to Crutches and scooter, I could walk a bit further and easier without falling over ! Very comfortable well worth the money and easy 6 🌟

I have been suing a stick for years now and my ability to walk has become less and less so I decided to give Crutches a go . They certainly do help , I can walk a few steps more but I can also stand for longer as I am.able to lean my full body weight stopping my legs from.caving ,which has caught me out a few times and is very embarrassing having to be picked up off the floor! 5 stars 🌟

I am very pleased with my rainbow crutches so much more comfortable than my other ones. The hand grips are much better for my arthritic thumb.

As a long-term crutches user, I can't believe it has taken me so long to purchase from Cool Crutches. I wish I had sooner! Gorgeous colours and a nice talking point with the children I work with. Would definitely buy again and would love to get other designs too.

I love it, I also have a purple walking stick which is good for short trips round the supermarket but if I need to walk further the crutch gives me more stability. I may be in my 70s but still enjoy the fun side of life these walking aids bring a smile to my face.

I treated myself to a pair of rainbow crutches and I love them. I have a new sense of confidence when I go out with these compared to standard grey crutches, as these are so bright and fun. They’re comfortable and quiet. They were delivered within 2 working days to N Ireland which was great as often things take longer than that. The arm cuff is quite snug, especially with a heavy coat, so they may not be suitable for larger people.

The most funky and comfortable crutches ever used. My posture has improved and the medical condition improved.

After venturing onto the underground in London and dropping my old stick down the escalator, I was very thankful for a young man to run down past me to retrieve it. It was passed back up to me but it was the final straw after having dropped it every day that I’ve been out this week. Getting a single crutch seemed the perfect answer and so it’s proved. It’s light, comfortable and I can walk far better with it. And if Cool Crutches are good enough for Jonny Bairstow, they’re good enough for me. I just like more colour than him :-). I’ll be ordering at least one bespoke one for sure.

Great crutches

I have recently been using mobility aids and felt very self conscious. I came to terms with having to use them and decided to go for the rainbow crutch. It is so comfortable (compared to a cheap one I got) and definitely styling it out with the lovely colours 🌈 looking to get the pink one next 💗

Lovely crutches and very sturdy. My old ones click when walking and causing wrist pain, Hopefully these ones won’t. Not be using them long enough to comment on clicking and wrist pain
