Fantastic sticks from a fantatic company. Comfortable on the hands, the ergonomically designed handles prevent blistering and reduce pain allowing me to walk a little further . All Cool Crutches products are of such high quality.
The main thing you’re paying for is the quietness of them and the design. They are completely silent I’ll give them that, but even straight out of the box the design does not look like it’ll last long, and some of the paint is already chipping. The design of the cuffs seems great, but constay pinch my arms and snag my clothes. I have so many bruises on my arms after just using them in the house and in th shops for an hour. When I put a hoodie on to protect my skin, it kept getting caught meaning in order for me to use the crutches properly, I was constantly having to adjust my sleeves which isn’t very practical. I do wonder if the cuff padding will help this issue but thats another expense on top of the £179 I have already spent. Another downside to these would be that the padding for the grips is just a straight tube, meaning that the part that sticks out still digs into your hand due to the padding having to stretch over that area and being super thin, another massive shame.

My wife uses these crutches most of the time and recently whilst walking our dogs at night time she found it difficult holding the leads, a separate torch and the crutches so I tried a cheaper torch that fixes to the crutch and after a short while my wife found it more of a hinderance than a help due to not being able to direct the light. I found the cool crutch torch and after reading a review brought it. It wasn't the cheapest by far but it is fully adjustable and easy to use with no fiddly buttons. It straight forward and totally directable so I now have a happy wife when walking the dogs! Thank you.
