Returning Customer but this time for my 74 yr old dad.
Dad's words on this are - A well constructed walking stick from someone who's used walking sticks for many years. The construction is stable and the hand grip is very supportive. Feels really good to use. Peter.
From my perspective - Dad suffers dreadfully with arthritis, a knee that's needing replaced and hands that suffer from Jupiter's contraction. The hand issue alone causes huge issues for gripping anything now, but the moulded hand grip is a game changer for him. I had really hoped that the grip in itself would be the biggest plus as I know personally from owning a pair of your crutches the construction is amazing. The grip is fabulous, easy to hold. It's also very light weight too for dad.
There's no clicking noise like NHS mobility aids which for dad had previously put him off using a walking stick.
It'll offer him huge confidence knowing that the stick is supportive, looks great and isn't something to be embarrassed about.
My dad was the one who purchased my crutches for me, knowing how my confidence and refusal to go out unless it was to work or to the supermarket at 9pm when People wouldn't see me with my old NHS provided aids. So it's been really nice that I can treat my dad to something that he's going to be very happy to use.
Thank you for developing aids that are cool, fashionable, quiet, discreet and most of all something to want to show off. They make everyday battles with mobility just that bit easier and remove the self conscious feeling that other aids cause.
