All our crutches are designed for safety, stability and silence. We guarantee comfort and confidence! Each crutch comes with a removable arm cuff and neoprene grip. Our crutch grips are machine-washable and provide a little extra cushion. All crutches are available as a single or pair.

All of our walking sticks, crutches and accessories qualify for VAT exemption for eligible individuals. To enjoy this benefit, please select VAT exempt pricing when adding your Cool Crutches, Walking Sticks or Accessories to your basket.

• Each individual children's crutch weighs 610g
• Each children's crutch has a maximum user weight of 100kg 

Adjusting for height

• Our children's crutches adapt to suit user heights between 95cm and 140cm
• Please note the inner pole is not coloured, it is plain black and so when you extend it this part will be black and the taller the user, the longer the black extension will be
• Age suitability is approx. 4 years old to 10 years old
• The arm cuffs measure 41 cm (16”) from end to end 
• At full swivel (for use of hand without your crutches crashing) width is 9 cm (3.5”) and depth is 11 cm (4.3”)

• The main stem is adjustable from 45 to 69 cm in height from the handle to the ground

  The elbow adjustment adjusts in five positions, from 19.5 to 25.5 cm from the handle to the elbow support.

   

Diameter

• The aluminium cane is 18 mm diameter, our ferrules are 19mm wide, designed to match  but our crutches will fit any 19mm ferrules

Grips

All crutches arrive with soft, neoprene grips for a little extra cushion to prevent any risk of pain or blisters. As with all products, our grips are latex free.

Grips are machine washable but we recommend replacing over time due to everyday wear and tear.

Christmas Delivery Information

UK

3pm Friday 19th December for pre-Christmas delivery for the UK

12noon Tuesday 23rd December for pre-New Year delivery for the UK

International

3pm Tuesday 16th December for pre-Christmas International delivery

3pm Tuesday 23rd December for pre-New Year International delivery

Please note all Personalised & Diamanté UK & International orders will need to be placed before 3pm on Friday 5th December to be delivered in time for Christmas.

Extended Returns:
For orders placed after 25th November we will be offering an extended returns policy until 8th January 2025. 

Orders Placed Over Christmas:

Please be advised we will still be sending orders out on Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th, Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st December but there are likely to be some delays and next working day delivery is not guaranteed.

Normal shipping will resume from 2nd January 2025.

Mainland UK

For free next day delivery, your order must be placed before 3pm. Your order will be delivered for free by courier the next WORKING day (Monday-Friday).

For example, an order placed on a Monday before 3pm will be delivered on Tuesday, however an order placed on Friday before 3pm will be delivered on Monday.

Personalised Crutches & Walking Sticks

We offer FREE delivery on all our personalised products over £100, however due to their bespoke nature take between 7-10 working days from order to delivery. Please note, personalised orders are non refundable.

Please note all Personalised & Diamanté UK orders will need to be placed before 3pm on Friday 6th December to be delivered in time for Christmas.

International Delivery

Please note, we are currently unable to ship to Israel.

We are dedicated to ensuring smooth and speedy international delivery, please be aware charges and estimated delivery times will differ depending on exact locations & addresses and whilst international orders will be exempt from VAT, local charges and customs apply.

Update as of 25.07.25 - All local charges and customs will be now be calculated at checkout and paid with your order.  This means no additional charges will be due on delivery.

Please note if a refusal of delivery is made, the refunded amount upon receipt of the returned goods will deduct the total amount charged for original shipping plus any return shipping charges too.

Please also note international orders are not eligible for returns. Should you have an issue with your order when it is delivered we will endeavour to replace / refund as fast as possible.

Finally, all Personalised & Diamanté International orders will need to be placed before 3pm on Friday 6th December to be delivered in time for Christmas.
